Overview

Ammoudara beach is one of the most popular and long beaches of Heraklion. It is located west of the city and stretches for several kilometres, offering plenty of space for relaxation and water sports. The waters are usually calm and clear, ideal for swimming and water sports. Along the beach there are many organised sections with sunbeds, umbrellas and beach bars.
