Arena Beach

Arena Beach, 10 km east of Heraklion, is the first beach free from urban development. It features a sandy shore with shallow teal waters, divided into three sections: a large resort on the east, beach bars with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a volleyball court on the west, and an unorganized middle area. Popular for water sports, especially SUP and kitesurfing, due to the northern winds.
