Kalatha Beach

Kalathas beach is located on the peninsula of Akrotiri, a few kilometers east of the city of Chania. It is one of the most popular beaches in the area, known for its beautiful sandy beach, crystal clear shallow waters and picturesque scenery. The beach has fine, golden sand and the waters are shallow and clear. The beach is located in a small bay and is surrounded by green hills. Opposite the beach, within walking distance, is a small island, which can be reached by swimming.
